The Password Generator uses the Web Crypto API for all randomness, providing cryptographically secure passwords. Each password is guaranteed to contain at least one character from each enabled character type.

The password generator calculates strength based on Shannon entropy — the mathematical measure of randomness. Entropy is computed from password length and the size of the character pool.

Ratings: Weak is less than 40 bits of entropy, Fair is 40-59 bits, Good is 60-79 bits, and Strong is 80+ bits. A 16-character password with all character types achieves approximately 105 bits of entropy.
